MISSION STATEMENT: 

"To maintain, update, rehabilitate and carry out ancillary works in Government Departments, and to act as contractor for works linked to the responsibilities assumed by Local Councils."

The Maintenance Directorate comprises of the following sections/units:

· The Central Districts Office - which provides services to the Local Councils via a joint venture agreement, carries out maintenance works in Government-owned buildings, executes various embellishment projects entrusted to the Ministry, and also carries out a range of road maintenance works on behalf of ADT;

· The Supporting Services Unit - which provides an assortment of waterproofing works to various Ministries and other departments, apart from being responsible for the supply of local 'franka' stone.
