The Mission Fund premises were in a dangerous state of repair, the roof was going to collapse due to seepage of water as the roof was leaking. Before any restoration work was done to the building the premises were first cleared out. As part of the cleaning there were some modern structures which were dismantled because they were a hindrance to the building.
Restoration work on the Mission Fund Premises included repairing of the roof, point-work and white washing. A waterproof membrane was also laid on the roof to prevent it from leaking again. The apertures were also restored and painted.
